Bambi Shmambi

Bambi aint got a damn thing on my ANDRENA. And I'm about to tell you why.

I just got a phone call from Andrena's sister (my ex sister in law, Dena) As it turns out, Brittany (my daughter) has not been going to school this year. Just so you all know... Brittany is 13 and will be 14 in October. Has moved about 3 times this school year and come to find out hasn't even attended a school. Or, if she did, it was for about a week or two and then stopped. All at the OKAY of Andrena.

I know what you're all gonna say. Call the State of Oregon and tell them. I tried that about 4 months ago and I got told BY THE STATE OF OREGON, that they no longer have a truancy division (lack of funding) and that Children Services just wanted to know if there was any physical abuse going on. Never fear, I'm still going to call Oregon and bitch like holy hell. See, Bambi at least has them go to school. Mine does crazy things (that I hear about) like a raving drunk, smacks Brittany around, demeans her mentally and the list goes on and on.

My frustration is that I hear this shit from so many people in Oregon, (they all tell me things) but they never tell the right people. Like CSD (children services) or the school system. See, they witness this stuff. I only hear about it. I can only do so much 3500 miles away.

This is about Brittany now. What the hell is happening over there in Oregon?

So, Bambi... You've just been one up'd.

yikes! i think the system is jacked up beyond belief and so "pro-mommy" it sucks. basically, whatever happens in court the first time is critical, you can never get it changed it seems. with time, the kid just gets used to one environment and considers it "home" and wont want to leave. the hardest part is that the kids get old enough to do whatever they want and i am sure you are headed in that direction now. maybe you can convince her to come live with you? do you really want that though? what a mess! we have one kid now who refuses to come over and one who seems to be "seeing the light" a bit, he could just be pulling our leg though, most likely.
