Blue and Gold

Yeah.. Yeah... I know, I haven't posted in quite a while. What can I say, I'm lazy. Deal with it.

On a serious note, last night we had Hayden's Blue and Gold Ceremony. This is basically like a pack meeting but bigger. This is where the scouts move up from their previous standings and on to their new ones. In Hayden's case, he officially became a Tiger and now has to move on to become a Wolf and then Bear and then Webelos, and then Boy Scout. So, he has moved up on the ladder, I suppose. It was a bit hectic. No organization. Imagine that. A scout troop run by mostly Marines and no organization. Pretty un-sat. Heather and I were not impressed. Most of us parents were a bit discouraged by that. Anyway, we did win an award. We got best Table. It was pretty cute and pretty fun. Kids had to decorate the Table cloth and all kinds of stuff. A lot of weeks of preperation, for one night. Worth it. Next is the Pinewood derby in March.

Car is still not done. I'm gonna take it to the hobby shop and have cut it. I seem to remeber that our Scroll Saw was givin to someone. Go figure. So, it's either that, or I go to the Depot and buy one. Not a chance.
