Yeah, well it's not the CLASH, and it's definitely not LONDON CALLING, but what it happens to be, is a package that Heather received from Johnstown, CO.
This has to be the funniest thing I've ever seen in my entire life.
One time, I was in Phouquet (cant' remember how to spell it) anyway we were just days away from leaving to Seoul and then on to Phohang (again, my spelling sucks.) anyway, we were previously in Fuji and Misawa, Japan. My point.... Is this. I had a package that was coming to me, and it kept chasing me around the frigging globe. Every time we'd port, the chopper would bring in the mail to the boat, and then we'd be on land long enough that it would fly into where we were, but I'd be put on details that would meet up in another site. What that means is I'd end up flying to one destination, and my box ended up getting back on the ship and or sometimes, back on a bird to get on another ship to be flown back onto where it could find me (and a lot of Marines, I wasn't the only one getting mail.) Well, by the time I had got my package, it looked like HELL, and most every thing in it was FUCKED up or stale or stained from other shit breaking in it. It was a travesty. That box ended up taking like 5 weeks to get to me. Granted, mail was very slow anyways back then getting to me even in Okinawa, it was worse that i was floating around the world on top of that. It was my Nana that sent the box and I never had the heart to tell her what happened, to this day. Well, she's dead and has been for years so what's the harm.
Well, my box didn't look nearly thins bad as this one does of Heathers. THis is awesome. As I understand, not much broke in this one. She's lucky. Anyway, it's always the thought that counts, and to be honest with you, my ratted up fucked up way busted up box that i ended up getting to me when I was in Thailand ( I think I was in Thailand or Korea, I'm still hazey on the exact location, it was 12 yrs ago for goodness sakes.) was the best feeling in the world knowing that I atleast got SOMETHING from SOMEBODY, no matter how fucked up or perfect it was when it got to me. It was always the thought that counted. Plus, it was from family and that made it all the better.
Anyway, here's the picture. What i love is that it showed up in a bag.

Well, with nearly 100 ready-to-freeze ice pops in the box, there was plenty of padding to keep most everything from breaking. The bag? Can you imagine the sticky mess left wherever the box was when the ice pops started leaking?
Actually the ice pops were in a bag too. So the box must have been opened or something. But it looks like only a couple of them busted open from the pressure and yeah it's pretty sticky!!
